Roleplaying Scenario 2: Uulish Hunt/Part 2

Note: This is the second part of the Uulish Hunt series. Look at this for part one: http://galactic-crucibles.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:13166

Anyone can join at any time.

Premise: A high reward, 17.5 quadrillion hemphares, has been set by the leader of a Cannak faction, Yirt of Erht, to the first person or group of people that bring them a living Uulish specimen.

Once acquired the specimen is to be brought to the co-ordinates as follows: Andromeda Galaxy - Jolfur Grid  - Division 463 - Sector 921 - Star System Itrolf - Planet Golfaar - Palace of Yirt.

You may start from anywhere you want and are allowed to start with three pieces of equipment. There is no limit on the amount of things you can carry although weight limitations may occur (you quite obviously can't take a spaceship and put it in your pocket, but I'm willing to let thousands of minor items be there as long as you remember them). You can be anything you want on the wiki as long as it fits in at the backend of Phase II Chaos Crisis (e.g. before Sunt, after intergalactic meetings).

Be wary, you aren't the only ones out to get the prize...

"Froltu should be the most knowledgeable as he's a crewmember of the ship."

Kray & Maj:

"Yes, I have knowledge of the interior. I alsohave the knowledge to know that running into the wilderness of this planet would give us better chances of survival than going back on that ship in this condition!" shouts Froltu while waving his hands about. "We have two of our members dead from that scuffle, two seriously injured, others wounded, one mad, four unable to fight, one unwilling to and one unknown thing!" he shouts waving his hands around at the different people in the group.

He then proceeds to slump himself to the ground with a heavy sigh.

"By the way," starts the desiir with the metal stick, "We are still going through with the deal for our capture of the Uulish, are we not?" they ask, turning their head slightly.

Ferinak takes another look out of the long grass and points the palm of his hand out towards the ship. "Is it true that you use radio waves for technological communication?"

"I'm still planning on getting an Uulish. What I said about forfeiting our search for the Uulish was a lie. (I was planning to double-cross Error. Sorry.) If the diplomatic solution had worked, I would taken the ship then alerted my friends at Maua outpost (a Flotilla outpost in the Yetnad Grid) to tell them where the Uulish was to call for back up.

"And as for running in the wilderness, well, we could all survive here as long as we like. But searching for the Uulish is pointless if we have no way of leaving the planet. Even if we did have a radio, who could we possibly contact? Unless the rest of you know of another way, our only means of interstellar communication is aboard the ship."

Kray & Maj:

"I asked about the radio waves because that is how mii species can see. We use radio waves to percieve our environment. Thae are sent out through our hands and can detect others. I wondered whii zouh ship was so distorted. It is using the radio waves I use to see." explains Ferinak, showing you one of his hands, poining another palm faced at the ship and the other by his side. "One more question. Is that signal analogue or digital?"

"It's all digital. Why do you ask?"

"Ah, stupid idea anywae." He puts his palms down and strolls with a crooked spine back over to you. "I was thinking of translating the radio messages bi me interpretting them, since I can see using them. Although that would mean I would have to translate all of zouh language and what-not. Stupid idea."

"Has anyone got any other ideas? We do need to get back on the ship." says the posh-toned desiir.

I'll listen to what others have to say in regards to ideas.

So I suppose it's safe to asusme that this RP has not only died, but been burried, fossilized and made into fuel by advanced civilizations?

Pretty much, except it has a museum record for being the longest on the wiki still :D There's a little medal somewhere floating around in space.

The plot was all over the place and when it was this free-willed there was no point in trying to finish it...

I might re-use some of the ideas and characters in this though...

Goodnight, sweet rp, and flights of Uulishes sing thee to thy rest…

(Yeesh, what was Shakespeare thinking when he wrote that?! Well, not that ^ but the quote I was paraphrasing…)

But yeah, I think this would be a good time to ask "Now what?"
