Cledrosia is a red supergiant in the Galactic Core Zone, a collection of stars just outside the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way galaxy. It is unique in that in hosts the planet Raycaon - the closest planet to the galactic core that can support multicellular life.
Planets[]
Raycaon[]
- Main article: Raycaon
Raycaon is the closest planet to the galactic core that can support multicellular life. The entire planet is in a perpetual daylight because of the brightness of all the stars in the nearby vicinity. Raycaon orbits at a safe distance from Cledrosia, far enough that it appears as just another star. Raycaon is believed to have been a hardy planet. Whenever it's star goes supernova, it's simply propelled into orbit of another nearby star. This is likely the case with Cledrosia as this planet could not have possible formed naturally around it. Raycaon also have five moons: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Episolon. These are believed to have been captured asteroids.
Raycaon was originally believed to have orbitted a class G star before getting engaged in its rogue journey through space. As a result, life has adapted to adjust to the radical climate changes that follow.
Volgen[]
A red gas giant that has a tendency to follow Raycaon during its supernova journey. None of its moons survive the supernova, but the gas giant constantly reforms new ones by ejecting matter. Because of this, Volgen has a massive ring system around it, even bigger than other ring-bearing gas giants such as Saturn.
