New Mykar is located in the Mykar system and is the Capital of the Mykarian Empire. It is the holiest site in the religion of Antarism. Administrators and close relatives of the Emperor are the only inhabitants of this planet.
Imperial Palace[]
The Imperial Palace is a building that Emperor Rael ordrered built, claiming to have received divine inspiration. It's Architecture is focused on majesty rather than efficiency or ease of defense. There are four massive towers with inverted arching walls connecting each tower. The Mykarian Emperor ordered most of the history of the Mykarian Empire to be inscribed on these walls in Noble Mykarian in a sprawling artistic pattern. The Imperial Palace is also notable for containing specimens of taxidermied sentient beings from Old Obeidon, and the four towers are directly uplifted from Obeidon when the Mykarians made their exodus. Each tower is Several hundred KM in height, and contains most of the administration for the Empire. The Emperor refuses to allow Mykarian history from Obeidon to be documented anywhere other than the massive walls of the palace, claiming "If this palace falls then we are undeserving of the history written here."
The palace is open-air besides the towers, the only thing blocking the Imperial Gardens from attack being a repulsor field surrounding the entire Palace. The Emperor sits in the center of the garden, surrounded by the taxidermied specimens, each from a distinct sapient species. These are stacked behind the Emperor and to his sides on the same raisable platform as the Throne, allowing him to turn to face his subjects without standing. Due to the Emperors apparent Omniscience, he has now extended this to surround him entirely, with a nanodiamond floor to enter and exit.
Towers[]
Each tower is of a different height, and contains a different administrative group. The head of each administrative group is automatically a member of Emperor Rael's council. The administrative groups and their leaders are as follows:
- In the highest tower, the religious group, headed by Archchancellor Untunika. This group handles all religious functions, but also handles The Empire's budget
- In the next highest tower, The Military Group, led by Antaran Servant Jan mithra Leuvra, handle the logistics of the military. Currently Jan Mithra Leuvra is stationed in the Rynoi Deep Core.
- The second-shortest tower contains the Nobility staying in the Palace, and also contains representatives of every direct vassal of The Emperor, it has no one leader.
- The last tower contains the civilian advocate group and also houses the maintenance crew of The Palace. They are responsible for local defense and have no leader and little political influence.
