The Orion Arm is a small arm that branches of the Perseus Arm. It contains the homeworlds of the Zeth and Human races. The EIT have claimed Gaea for themselves after the War on Gaea where the Buyuk Empire had forced humanity off the planet.
Much of the Orion Arm was known to the Human race before they even achieved space travel. When they were uplifted shortly after the end of the War on Gaea, they were given the oppurtunity to name the stars in their area that they had discovered long before other superpower civilizations had arrived. Hence the reason why stars visible from the planet Gaea have human names.
