So this is a blog for the upcoming story arc which follows directly after the defeat Altus Infra. I know we should finish the current story arc before moving on, but it is always good to plan ahead.

The premise we've established is that the GSSOC has accidentally caused the end of the universe after defeating Infra and fulfilled the Dark Prophecy. It is only a matter of time before the god of destruction Vernietigen gets released from his prison of stone.

The story arc will directly follow the events of The Final Confrontation to allow more flexibility.

Planned events[]

  • Krayhan informs GSSOC of this issue.
  • Uszaroth survives afterwards, and the GSSOC take him captive. In the state he is, Uszaroth is an imp about three feet tall.
  • The GSSOC becomes aware of the Augur of Na'zrah who informs them that it is possible to buy more time to better prepare for Vernietigen's release.
  • I believe Nra mentioned the idea of the GSSOC splitting up to cover multiple missions. What these missions are specifically is not yet decided.

Tying in the Augur of Na'zrah[]

edited: Na'zrah now directly refers GSSOC to the Augur.

Ideas for individual stories (Ahrganot)[]

When GSSOC splits up, many stories occur at once. Ahrganot has to go back to Ucharpli and travel across the entire world.

In Search of the Earth Shaper[]

I had this one idea of Ahrganot teaming up with Enrico to go back to Ucharpli for a mission. The Augur tells them that they have to find the location of where the earth god Rhuuz-tih sleeps and attempt to convince him to help strengthen Vernietigen's chains. They will have to go to the Fire Plains and enter the ancient city of Karzah-dun where there is a lot of lava and unstable structures.

This mission could be Enrico's rite of passage to prove that he is GSSOC material. This would give the oppurtunity for Ahrganot to try to take a role as a mentor which would make this a challenge for the both of them. In order to complete this mission, they will have to learn to work together.

As for Rhuuz-tih, the GSSOC will capture him and take him back to The Bunker to be kept where Uszaroth is.

Ahrganot's ring[]

edited: Ahrganot no longer loses the ring. After The Final Confrontation, the rest of the team begins to notice Ahrganot losing his corporealness (such as hair turning white, not eating etc.) and they convince Ahrganot should keep the ring somewhere safe. However, he absorbed some of the ring's powers, but not all of it.
